The Gerlitze is the ideal mountain for tandem – paragliding flights.
Easy and fast access with the Gerlitzen Kanzelbahn (free with the Carinthian Card) easy starting conditions in every direction, except to the north. Most of the year good air conditions and an altitude difference of 1400m. With ideal thermal conditions we can climb up above the mountain top and get an even better view of Lake Ossiach lake and Landskron castle, Lake Wörthersse with the Schlosshotel Velden, Lake Fakersee and the town of Villach and the Villacheralpe mountain.

Thanks to its special location the Dreiländereck is an excellent alternate flight zone at times when a north wind is blowing. Easy and fast ascent with the 3 Ländereck Cable Car, easy starting conditions in every direction except to the south. Superb flight conditions and an altitude difference of 1000m. Gorgeous glides with views of the Villacher Alpe, the Mittagskogel and Faakersee.

The Radsberg is located south of the provincial capital Klagenfurt and can be reached in 15 min by car. Despite its low altitude, the Radsberg, with its microclimate is an insider tip. It is not rare for the thermals to be so good that you can ascend to 2500m without any problems. This makes long distance flights possible, along the Drau river between the Karawanken, the Rosental and the Keutschacher Seental towards Villach to the Julian Alps.
